Company

Our first company was built in 2000 and in November of that year we started with the first crop of tomatoes.

Its area is 43,000 square meter greenhouse and a barn and substrate area of 1500 square meters together. The greenhouse is 225 meters wide and 200 m long, the plant height is 4.5 meters.

The heating is done using round tubes with a total length of 80 km. These tubes are also used as a track for harvest- and electric vehicles . At the company is no heating because the heat comes from the central boiler house of the cluster.

In the substrate area are two pump units they mix the water with fertilizer and pump it into the greenhouse, where each plant is watered through a separate tube. The excess water is collected through the drainage and reused.

In the greenhouse is a water channel, so that all harvested tomatoes drive to the barn. There they removed from the channel and dried. Then the sorting machine determines the weight and color of each tomato. The computer then determines out which of the 28 exits the tomato must go.

We built a second company in Bleiswijk in 2006 with an area of nearly 60,000 m2. We grow loose tomatoes here as well.
